Chordospartium - Weeping Broom
DESCRIPTION: This group consists of only one tender, deciduous shrub that is a native of New Zealand. C. stevensonii, the Weeping Broom, is an interesting, medium-sized, broom-like, leafless shrub. In the summer, racemes of white flowers tinged with lavender-pink are produced. This bush resembles a tiny, weeping willow. This rare shrub looks brown and dead for the first few years of life.
POTTING: Grow Weeping Brooms in any well-drained, friable soil.
