Chiliotrichum

DESCRIPTION: Two tender, evergreen shrubs belong to this group and are native to South America. C. diffusum is a small shrub with linear leaves, 3/4 to 3 inches long. The green, leathery leaves are covered with white down on their undersides, which eventually turns brown. In the summer, white flowers, which resemble Daisies, are produced.

POTTING: These shrubs can be grown in mild climates only. They can be grown in any well-drained, friable soil.
