Alphitonia - Pink Almond, White Ash

DESCRIPTION: 20 species of tropical trees there are about six in Australia, mostly native to the coastal rainforests of New South Wales and Queensland.These fast growing trees are popular in tropical gardens.The long ovate leaves with a whitish underside have an attractive silvered new growth. Clusters of tiny white fragrant flowers in the spring and are followed by black berries.
