Sea Thrift - White:
White Sea Thrift, Amrmeria maritima 'Alba', is a hardy evergreen perennial that likes well drained soil. It has dense clumps of grass-like foliage with snowy white flowers on the end of wiry stems that bloom over a long season. It makes an attractive edging plant. Remove spent flowers, and feed only once a year with slow-release fertilizer. Sea Thrift is known as one of the easiest grown perennials. This plant tolerates drought and salt well, and it will grow in dry soils but prefers soil that is well-drained, loamy, sandy or clay. Good for container plantings, the rock garden, border, or as a ground cover.
