Garden Pest and Plant Disease Listing - TE

TENT CATERPILLAR: A moth larva that forms huge silken webs in the branches of trees and shrubs. It feeds on the foliage of many trees and shrubs, including fruit trees, often defoliating the plant. They may be controlled by hand-picking and destroying webs with powerful sprays from a hose, Bacillus thuringiensis (Go see), releasing Trichogramma wasps, or traditional insecticides.
