MEALYBUGS: These pests are small, white and cottony-looking.An infested plant will have small, woolly white nests and sticky honeydew covering it. They can be destroyed with either a systemic or soapy insecticide, or in temperatures over 70º F, introduce the predator ladybug (Cryptolaemus montrouzieri). The adults and larvae feed on mealybugs and sometimes aphids. the adults are sold through the mail. Also known as the mealybug destroyer.
