RUGOSE: Referring to a rough or wrinkled surface of a plant part.

RUNNER: A horizontally spreading stem that runs above ground and roots at the nodes to form new plants. The stem eventually dies leaving many well-rooted plants surrounding the original one. An example is the Strawberry. Often confused with stolon.
