EMARGINATE:Having a shallow notch at the tip, such as on a leaf.
EMARGINATION: A notching of the edge, such as along the edge of a leaf.
EMBRYO: The developing immature plant contained in the seed of flowering plants prior to germination and growth.
EMBRYOTEGA: A small circular thickening near the seed scar on the seeds of some plants, such as members of the spiderwort family.
EMERSED: Rising above the water, such as the leaves of many water plants.
