DUNE: A mound of loose sand piled up by wind.

DUST/DUSTING: Method of pesticide control in which a dry substance is applied by spraying.

DUSTER: A device consisting of a bin, a wand with a nozzle, and a crank mechanism; used for applying dust or powder to plants.

DUST MULCH: A dry, loose surface layer of cultivated soil, which reduces water loss from the underlying soil.
